Welcome to Kenmure Cottage website, which will guide you around the amenities, should you wish to make this your holiday desination.

Situated on the old port within the village of Palnackie, this well equipped, tastefully decorated cottage offers views over the River Urr and is an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. The village of Palnackie is a small thriving community with a cafe/restaurent, public house, small shop/Post Office and several village based businesses.

Excellent coastal and forest walks, along with riding, golf, fishing and sailing are all available nearby. Castle Douglas, a traditional market town specialises in food and local produce and is an interesting day out.

As is Kirkcudbright, the artist town boasting a splended castle and the Stewartry Museum.

Ground floor: Entrance is to the rear of the property via the wooden gate to the left. The door leads into the Lounge/kitchen/diner. First floor: Bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin.
Oil central heating, multi-fuel burner in lounge (initial supply of fuel only is provided). We provide bed linen and towels, but please bring your own towels for swimming (if required). There is a colour freeview TV, DVD player, CD player/Radio, washing machine, microwave, gravelled garden, patio, outdoor furniture, on street parking. One pet welcome. No smoking please.
